Our HAAG-trained inspectors know the difference between cosmetic damage and functional damage. That distinction determines your insurance payout.
New Roof Installation
New construction roof installation following IRC Section R905 and local Chuckey building code amendments. We calculate ventilation per IRC R806 (1:150 ratio reduced to 1:300 when 50% is within 3ft of ridge. Synthetic underlayment per ASTM D226, ice barrier per ASTM D1970 at eaves in freeze-thaw climate zones. Manufacturer-certified installation locks in the full system warranty.
Metal Roofing
We do metal roof repairs too. Loose panels, failed sealant at transitions, rust spots on older galvanized. Not every metal issue needs a full replacement. Our Chuckey crew can usually fix it same-day.
Shingle Roofing
Designer shingles like GAF Camelot and Owens Corning Berkshire mimic slate and cedar shake. Higher cost than standard architectural, but the look is incredible. We install all designer profiles in Chuckey.
Flat Roofing
Flat roof leaks usually happen at penetrations, seams, or flashing details. We locate the source, repair it properly, and coat the surrounding area. If the membrane is shot, we'll recommend replacement. Not a band-aid.
Commercial Roofing
Roof coatings can extend the life of your commercial roof by 10-15 years for a fraction of replacement cost. We apply silicone and acrylic coatings over existing TPO, EPDM, and metal substrates. Not every roof qualifies. We'll be straight with you.
Gutter Installation
Improperly sized gutters cause fascia board rot and foundation erosion. We calculate gutter capacity using the rainfall intensity formula: roof square footage x pitch factor x rainfall rate (inches/hr for Chuckey). Standard 5" K-style handles 5,520 sq ft of effective roof area. Bigger roofs or steeper pitches need 6" gutters with 3x4" downspouts. We hang with hidden hangers screwed into rafter tails every 24".
Roof Inspection
Our Chuckey roof inspections cover shingles, flashing, pipe boots, ridge vent, soffit, gutters, and decking condition. You get a written report with photos. If nothing's wrong, we tell you that.
Emergency Roof Repair
After we tarp and secure your roof, we document everything for insurance purposes. Photos, measurements, damage descriptions. Your adjuster gets a professional report, not a handwritten note.
Skylight Installation
Skylights bring natural light into rooms that don't have it. Bathrooms, hallways, closets. We install VELUX and Fakro fixed and vented skylights with proper flashing kits designed for asphalt shingle roofs.
